Chem Sleds

Most of you know I hyperextended my knee back in January. Even then, I wasn't surfing that much. Lately I've been paddling a softtop 8'0. It's been good rehabilitaion for my knee. Today was the first time in almost 6 months that I surfed a shortboard. My knee felt good. I put in well over 2 hours in 2 sessions today. I then hit up my good friend Ian who has been in the industry for years. He set me up with a Chemistry 5'10 Flashpoint. Chemistrys are my board of choice for around here. I've had a 5'11 Flashpoint before, but it was just a hair too much board. This board just feels so good. Forrest is coming down this weekend and we're going to shoot. Stand by for new clips. Shoots

Trog Hunter's In Town

4  years ago my bradda Forrest Troxell moved out here from Maui to attend Channel Islands. I'm so happy he recently graduated, because now we can get back on track and take over the world. Forrest is one of my favorite humans on this earth. He is artistic AF, he SHREDS water, and he's next level funny AF! Everytime we get together, we do something super fun and we always come up with a project to create. Another thing I just remembered is the past 3 times Forrest has visited, I've been injured so we've been able to capture him ripping the waves. Here is a screengrab from this mornings clips.
